Travel looks different when you're paying attention to the details.
I love discovering the places beyond the brochure: the restaurant worth finding, the resort detail you wouldn't know until you stayed there, the unexpected challenge, and the little moment that makes a trip memorable.

These are a few of the experiences I've brought home from my travels, along with the things I learned along the way. They're the details I think are worth knowing when you're considering a destination for yourself.
From My Travels
Take a look through some of my firsthand travel experiences.
Los Cabos, Mexico
What I discovered about the Pacific side of Mexico, from a resort built into the hillside to whale watching, local food and the things you don't always learn from a resort description.
Nova Scotia
Wine country, coastal sunsets, small towns and the unexpected places that made me want to return. A long weekend wasn't nearly enough.
St. Maarten & St. Martin
Two nations, one island, and a very different kind of Caribbean experience. What I learned about exploring independently, getting around, and finding the places beyond the usual tourist route.
